We do more than Cats and Dogs…
Rabbits, chickens, fish, ferrets, guinea pigs, birds, lizards, turtles and frogs – ACT Pet Home Care is familiar with many different animals, and happy to learn about those we aren’t quite so familiar with.
At the free introduction meeting we will come and meet you and your pets. It is important that your pets are comfortable with us, as this will reduce any stress on your pet (or on you) while you are away. That is why we will never accept a new client without going through this process.
*The first three key pick ups or drop offs each calendar year are free. After which this service is charged at $20 per key pick up / drop off.

We will bring in your mail and look after your bins in your absence.

Our visits last 10 to 15 minutes depending on how socialable your pet is.
Dog walking

Regular or adhoc dog walks in your local area for your dog.

Walks are offered in 20 minute, 30 minute and 45 minute bookings

We offer a private, tailored service for up to two of your dogs. We do not offer group walks.

Price List:
In-home care (from 1 April 2024)

One visit per day - $33 per visit (for up to two pets, $7 per additional pet)

with a 20-minute walk $55 (total incl. visit cost for up to two pets)

wth a 45-minute walk $70 (total incl. visit cost for up to two pets)

Two visits per day - $60 per day (for up to two pets, $15 for the first additional pet and $7 per pet per visit thereafter)

with one 20-minute walk $80 (total incl. visit cost for up to two pets)

All bookings on public holidays will incur an additional $5 per visit.
Key pick ups
The first three key pick ups are complimentary each calendar year. Following this, key pick ups will incur a $20 fee. This resets from 1 January each year.

Cancellation Terms

Cancellation terms are flexible during non-peak times up to 24 hours prior to start of a confirmed booking. Within 24 hours you will be liable for the cost of the first day of the confirmed booking.

During peak times we may charge a cancellation fee for any cancelled days of a confirmed booking.

If you cancel once a booking has commenced, you will be liable for the entire cost of the booking.
